Dog Boarding in Minnesota

Neuman K-9 Academy offers dog boarding and training services in Minnesota exclusively to graduates of our training program.

Maintaining what your dog has learned requires consistent reinforcement. At Neuman K-9 Academy, we provide an environment where proper etiquette is part of daily life and your dog’s strengths continue to grow.

During boarding, dogs stay in the lower level of a home, not in kennel runs, barns or garages. Their sleeping area is equipped with in-floor radiant heat, climate controlled fresh air through an HRV system and a medical grade air purification system to ensure comfort, safety and cleanliness.

We welcome dogs from across Minnesota including Minneapolis, St. Paul, Eden Prairie, Minnetonka and surrounding Twin Cities communities, provided they have completed one of our training programs. This creates a calm and familiar structure for all boarding dogs.

Whether you are away for a weekend, a long holiday or a business trip, we make sure your dog continues to grow, learn and feel secure while in our care.

The facility sits on a spacious property in Hugo with indoor and outdoor training fields. Dogs have room to move, explore and relax in a peaceful setting.

Dog Boarding Requirements

To ensure that all dogs in our care have a compatible level of training and temperament, we require the following before confirming a boarding stay.

Graduates of Our Training Programs

Boarding is available exclusively for dogs that have completed one of our Neuman K-9 Academy programs. This ensures your dog understands basic structure, handlers can communicate with them clearly, and the environment stays calm for all boarding dogs.

Up to Date Core Vaccinations

Dogs must have current vaccinations for Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella. Proof of veterinary records is required before check in.

Healthy and Free from Contagious Conditions

We can only accept dogs who are in good health, eating normally and free from parasites or contagious illness.

Balanced Temperament and Fit for a Structured Environment

Dogs should be comfortable following basic commands, handling routines and being around other trained dogs. This helps us maintain a predictable and safe boarding atmosphere.
