Boogaard is a German Shepherd from Hugo, MN who graduated in February 2013.
This is an intermediatetraining program and Boogaard's second return back to boot camp for continued education. He learned new commands like "place" go to a bed till released, down from a distance, off-leash recall under distraction, and higher levels of distraction proofing.
Boogaard's Continued Education Boot Camp Highlights
Boogaard completed the Neuman K-9 Academy Continued EducationBoot Camp Level II. This program covered obedience commands to sit, stay, down, heel, come when called, and general etiquette like waiting at doors until released and no jumping up.
This programalso included training to run on a treadmill, jump in a vehicle on command, public meet and greets, confidence building and socialization.
